The short version
We don't store your Asana tasks, comments, or files. Your export is built in your own browser and saved straight to your computer.
What happens when you use the app
- Signing in with Asana. When Asana sign-in is turned on, a small server step swaps Asana's sign-in code for an access token and passes it back to your browser. That server step doesn't save the token or anything else. In this preview you paste a personal access token instead.
- Your access token stays in your browser tab's memory while you use the app. It is never written to your browser's storage, and it's gone when you close or reload the tab. If you have a license, the token is sent once to our license check, which asks Asana whether you can see that workspace. We don't store or log it.
- Your Asana data (tasks and comments) goes from Asana straight to your browser. It never passes through or stays on our servers.
- Paused exports. So you can resume a big export, progress is saved in your own browser (IndexedDB) and cleared when the export finishes. You can also discard it with one click. It never leaves your computer.
What we do keep
- License records. When you buy, we save a license key, the Stripe checkout and payment IDs, the plan, how many workspace credits you bought, the date, and a one-way hash of each Asana workspace ID that's unlocked. We don't keep the workspace ID itself, and no task or comment content.
- Payments. Stripe handles checkout. Stripe collects your card details and email and sends your receipt. We never see your full card number. Your Asana workspace ID is sent to Stripe with the checkout so we know which workspace to unlock. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- How you found us. On your first visit we save the referring site or campaign tag in your browser and attach it to your checkout (as Stripe metadata) so we know which channels work. If you answer "How did you hear about us?", that answer goes along too. Neither one identifies you.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request data like IP address to deliver and protect the site. We haven't turned on any stored logs for this app. Cloudflare offers a live log view that shows requests only while someone on our side is watching, and it isn't saved.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, run ad trackers, or use your Asana content for anything except building the export you asked for.
Your choices
- Revoke your personal access token any time in Asana, where you created it. [CONFIRM exact Asana path from Asana docs, and the path for disconnecting the app once Asana sign-in is on.]
- Ask us to delete your license record by emailing nightshiftlabs88@gmail.com.
